Alas, Poor Rurik!
One of the most facetiously funny yet entirely ruthless Substack writers is going into "Dark Mode"
And he predicts the imminent crippling and/or demise of Substack, via, inter alia, the partial (sic) courtesy (sic) of the ADL…
Take a look at Rurik’s/Rolo’s Slavland Chronicles archives — and perhaps you’ll develop an appreciation for what he has been providing all along, and have the wherewithal to help keep him in coffee, tobacco, and rolling papers for just a little while longer.
Rolo/Rurik is great, I posted a comment on his latest post advising him to tough it out, basically. He's right about Substack; all of these tech companies use freedom of speech to grow the business, then they sell out to globohomo one way or another and clamp down. Pattern is very clear. That being said I think Substack is more resistant than other companies because it relies on paid subs and not advertisers as its business model.
