An Invitation to Read Some New Substack-Hosted Writing by Larry Turner
I’d like to ask you to take a look at the written material already provided at the following link, and then give me your feedback, if any: https://larryturner.substack.com/. Ideally, you’ll find the material useful and interesting, and then will decide to subscribe, to some degree, to the future public postings from Grundvilk.
The first two posts should give you a good idea of the sort of thing I intend to continue to provide readers in the future. A more general overview of Grundvilk, including background on the development and rationale of the site can be found at https://larryturner.substack.com/p/coming-soon.
Note that the short “Triage” commentary concerning continuing miserable developments and conditions in the US, https://larryturner.substack.com/p/triage, arises directly from the much longer and much more deeply-rooted perspective conveyed by https://larryturner.substack.com/p/april-27th-2021. This perspective plays off, among other things, a recent social science book by Putnam and Garrett (2020), and the slightly older but related also ‘soft science’ books by Albert Bernstein (2012), and Mullainathan and Shafir (2013), that are relevant to those “continuing miserable developments and conditions in the US” (and elsewhere).
