Being prepared, calmly and perpetually alert, and simultaneously open to both outside and inside influences, are the basic requirements for benefiting from “inspiration”. Not meeting these requirements not only limits the powers, abilities, and sphere of operation of AI, but also — alas — those of many modern people and institutions.
