Nah, I wasn't pointing to the capitalism-communism 'axis' of things. Competence is apolitical, but it's not something the incompetent can appreciate or understand but can do a whole lot to interfere with (sort of like cows standing in the middle of a single lane road). See the COVID19 falderol if you want an example of the action and effects of incompetence less colored by political overtones.
One of my in-laws worked at Boeing. It's become a demoralizing nightmare. Senior management is incapable of anything but bad faith.
